HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

This Halloween, the Hutongs around Yonghegong Lama Temple will transform into a “PURGATORY” (炼狱). You and your team have had the misfortune to find yourselves trapped between Paradise and the Infernal Regions. Will you redeem your soul and escape Purgatory? GAME RULES:

As part of the challenge, you will have to solve mysterious puzzles and collect objects that will help you redeem your soul and stay protected from the evil spirits that haunt the area. But remember, Purgatory is also known as “the Devil's Playground”, which means the Devil might be nearer than you think, so make sure you proceed with caution as you venture into the twisted alleyways that make up Yonghegong's old “maze-like” hutongs… 

HOW TO PLAY? 

As part of the Scavenger Hunt, you will be working together in teams of 3 to 5 people to solve mysterious puzzles and collect objects to win. The playing team sizes are flexible, we recommend groups of 3 to 5 people, but smaller or larger teams may also play.

Once you start the challenge you will have 90min to finish as many tasks as you can. The task may include...

• Finding Hidden Envelopes 
• Answering Questions
• Locating hidden Objects
• Drawing and Writing
• Taking pictures and videos

Your team will be given a MAP and a "SURVIVAL GUIDE" to help you find all the locations and give you clues and tips along the way. All materials are available in English.
